Not to say there may not be a bad one, but after using 50 or so I'm glad to say that I've had no rejects. They were delivered quickly and in good shape. I was a little leary of cd-r's that cost so little, but I have used many of them now and not had a bad one. I use them for high quality audio book downloads and they work great.
These CDs are a good value for everyday use. The packaging is simple but sturdy. No problems. They may be "Basics," but they are high-quality. The dark print shows through when I label the CDs. I have used more than 30 of these CDs, and none have failed. No coasters.Music CDs I burned using these have played in my very old CD player and my car. The discs arrived safely and the spindle stores them easily and securely. The only thing I wish were different is that I prefer discs without black writing on them.
You just can't beat this price on a 100 pack, and with amazon's free super saver shipping and frustration free packaging, I'm a happy customer.
They are CD's, they burn, and play in my car, what else is there to say.
The CD labeling is simple and not overbearing and yes., basic. Seems like a no-brainer to me. The name may be basic but the product is solid and reliable for the casual user. The media burned multiple CD's without an Issue (or a coaster, which was a pleasant surprise) using Window Media Player and the built in Windows Burning Utility. The spindle construction is solid and easy to open.Price is better than other low end CD-R media.Frustration free packaging is nice and saves having to battle the standard shrink wrapping. What more can you say, they do the same job for a fraction of the cost of most recognized "Brand" name media distributors if you are a casual user.If you are looking to archive mission critical data you may want to spring for the high end media but for the casual users (and non critical applications) these are more than acceptable.I have been a user (not always a happy one) of Memorex media in the past, the amazon basic line is cheaper than the Memorex and (so far) has been more reliable.
